Descriptions : National Refinery Limited (NRL) is a major petroleum refining and lube manufacturing complex in Pakistan, listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX: NRL). Incorporated in 1963, NRL is the only refinery in Pakistan equipped to produce Lube Base Oils (LBO) alongside high-grade transport fuels, operating two lube refining units and one fuel refining unit in Korangi, Karachi. Acquired by the Attock Group in 2005, NRL operates integrated processing units including Diesel Hydro Desulphurisation (DHDS) and Isomerisation plants to produce Euro II-compliant fuels. NRL plays a strategic role in meeting Pakistan's domestic energy, industrial lubrication, and infrastructure road-paving needs.
