Incorporated in May 1960 as a public limited company, PRL established its crude oil refining complex at Korangi Creek, Karachi, with a processing capacity of approximately 50,000 barrels per day. Processing crude oil imported from the Middle East as well as indigenous local crude, the company supplies vital transportation fuels, industrial fuel oils, and aviation turbine fuels to energy markets across Pakistan.
