Since our establishment in 2008, PEDC has demonstrated remarkable expertise across multiple sectors, including upstream and downstream oil and gas, power generation, renewables, infrastructure, and trading. Operating through 28 subsidiaries, PEDC functions as an investor, developer, service provider, and project contractor, managing an investment portfolio of approximately USD 13 billion.
PEDC is ranked as a top-tier Exploration and Production (E&P) company by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), and has been pre-qualified by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil to attend international Bid Rounds conducted by Iraqi Ministry of Oil for exploration of development of oil and gas fields in Iraq, further highlighting PEDC’s regional credibility and international readiness.
Our key achievements include, but are not limited to:
- Power Generation: Over 3,000 MW capacity including renewables, covering approximately 4% of Iran’s market.
- Crude Oil Production: Currently producing 65,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) as operator and sole shareholder of Sepehr & Jufair Onshore Oil Fields, with target of 150,000 bbl/d.
- Heavy Crude Refining: Processing 35,000 bbl/d with plans to reach 100,000 bbl/d.
- Petrochemical Development: Operating two plants with a combined annual capacity of 3.3 million tons.
- Renewable Energy: Developing 1,500 MW of solar power projects across 12 provinces, with a total investment of approximately $1 billion USD.
